Изрезанное тело женщины нашёл в кустах житель Петербурга минувшим вечером.
По информации «Фонтанки», в полицию житель Московского района Петербурга обратился около пяти часов вечера 21 июля. Он рассказал, что в кустах возле 11 дома по Пулковской улице увидел тело девушки с изрезанной спиной, лицом и следами удушения.
Криминалисты установили, что умерла 41-летняя женщина. Преступление было совершено ночью 21 числа, минимум за 12 часов до момента, когда прохожий увидел тело.
Вместе с оперативниками на Пулковскую приехал пёс по кличке Жасмин. Он взял след и довёл полицейских до детского сада в пятистах метрах от кустов, в которых нашли тело.
Через некоторое время предполагаемый убийца был задержан, им оказался 40-летний житель Башкортостана. Уголовное дело об убийстве было возбуждено в тот же день.

Russian LGBT+ activist Yelena Grigoryeva was found dead in St. Petersburg with multiple stab wounds and signs of strangulation, and it is believed she was targeted by a website designed to “hunt” gay people.
The website promoted a twisted “game,” based on the Saw horror movie franchise, encouraging users to upload the details of LGBT+ people, including photos and addresses, for others to find and attack.
The site was taken down by authorities last week (July 20) after more than a year online, but just days before her death, Grigoryeva had posted a warning about the website on her Facebook page saying that it had been blocked before and kept reappearing.
According to Russian website Fontanka, her body was found on the night of July 21 near her home, and authorities have detained “a 40-year-old resident of Bashkortostan.”
There was “no noticeable reaction” when Yelena Grigoryeva and her lawyer approached law enforcement about the violent threats.
The Russian LGBT Network said in a Facebook post: “Russian LGBT Network is deeply saddened and expresses condolences to Yelena’s family, friends, and loved ones.
“The Network would like to acknowledge that Grigoryeva’s name has previously appeared on a homophobic website titled “The Saw,” alongside the names of other Russian LGBTQ rights defenders.
“‘We have prepared some brutal and dangerous presents for these LGBTQ activists,’ says the message on the website. It remains unclear who stands behind those threats.”
Grigoryeva’s friend and fellow activist Dinar Idrisov posted on Facebook saying that Grigoryeva had “recently become a victim of violence and had often been threatened by murder.”
He added: “Yelena and her lawyer addressed law enforcement about the violence, and the threats, but there was no noticeable reaction.”
“She asked a friend in case of her death to take care of her cat when she started to be threatened with murder.
“She promised to do it to calm her down, although she did not believe in the realisation of threats.”
Grigoryeva campaigned for LGBT+ rights, demonstrated against inhumane treatment of prisoners and advocated for other human rights issues.

It is with deep sadness we protest the brutal murder of #LGBT+ rights activist Yelena #Grigoryeva, 41, in St. Petersburg, after her name was listed on a #homphobic site that hunts #LGBTQ people in #Russia. According to friends and fellow activists, she had been receiving death threats and had been the victim of violence previously.

Republican politician Samual Ronan was arrested in early Saturday morning in Springboro, Ohio after a contentious interaction with local police — that he broadcast live on Facebook, the Dayton Daily Newsreports.
The video does not show the beginning of the interaction, but as the video starts with Ronan saying, “whatever the issue is, you yelling at me and threatening me to get on the ground, is not relevant.”
The officer can be heard demanding that Ronan “get on the ground.”
“No!” he replied. “I am absolutely not getting on the ground.”
The officer continued to repeat his demand for Ronan to “get on the ground.”
“As much as this is a police state and as much as you feel like you’re obligated to do this, you’re not,” Ronan said.
“Get on the ground,” the officer said one final time.
“No,” Ronan replied.
At that point, it appears that the officer put the one-time congressional candidate on the ground.
Last month, Ronan captured 16.8% of the vote in the Republican Party primary for Ohio’s first district, while incumbent Rep. Steve Chabot received 83.2%.
He had originally filed to run as a Democrat, but switched party affiliation in Novemeber.
Ronan was charged with failure to comply, obstructing official business and obstructing justice. He is being held in the Warren County Jail with bail set at $60,000.
