Dear Reader:
I may, or may not, post the entirety of texts of these daily Facebook Memories items.
Instead, I present to you these URL links to the day’s Facebook Memories. You can tap the active URL to read the full text of either the Original Post or the subsequent Share.
Some years – whether an Original Post or a Share at a subsequent year – might be missing its URL. That is the way Facebook works as well as iPad and Samsung.
– Facebook generally does not provide a URL to a Facebook user’s page for videos that they post to their page; instead, Facebook provides its own video URL to that video and not the actual URL to the post.
– Apple, at least using iPad, has no direct way to obtain URLs of Facebook posts, certainly not from any drop-down menu.
– Android, using my Samsung, does not provide any URL for my video post, only the video URL, same as Facebook itself. It does include the URL link in its drop-down menu for non-video posts.
The only way that I have ever consistently and easily extracted a URL to my Post of a video that I posted to my page is using a PC; my PCs are currently inoperable, so extracting those URLs is not possible until I can repair my PC. The URLs that you see are the URLs that I previously extracted when I had a PC to do that.
An indirect way that I obtain a URL is to ‘Like’ a post using any device. Using Samsung (or probably any Android, certainly PC), go to the entry at Activity Log for that ‘Like’, open that post, and tap the dots to open the drop-down menu. Select ‘Copy link’, or something similar, to obtain the URL; you can Paste that URL to your text document.
You can find and read missing years by going to the Original Post or to a subsequent post and browse the Share items. Of course, that may not work; my Samsung does not go to any Shares posts, I must use iPad to open any Share items. Sheesh!!! You’d expect, with all their technology, that today’s devices could do these simple tasks. Nope. What a blow!
And another thing – ‘Content isn’t available … ‘. I frequently find my own posts are deleted. I did not do that. I don’t know who deletes my posts, nor why they delete them. Nor do I know why my URL links suddenly disconnect. These are Facebook functions controlled by Facebook, thus, Facebook is deleting my Posts and disconnecting the URLs to my Posts. Why!
One of the reasons why I re-posted these Facebook Memories was to bring past items to the present – keep myself aware of the history contained in past posts, maybe you, too. ‘Those who forget History are doomed to repeat it.’
Thus, all the more reasons why I need to spend less of my daily Internet time (as much as four hours) here at Facebook and better use my Internet time at my SlimandMe.WordPress.com web-site – that’s my primary Internet presence and I get four hours of my life back. I have been duplicating and expanding my Facebook items to my web-site anyway. Ya know what – Suck dings me too much here for daring to Post the Truth, what Facebook decides violates their Community Standards.
I appreciate receiving news articles from You. I have been taking too much time re-posting these Facebook Memories. By spending less time duplicating Facebook, I can also better manage my daily Internet time to Share the new news articles and information that you Share with me to both this page and my web-site.

This current scam with the 128 generals and admirals that Drumpfian and Deplorable Republi-cons are working is that deal to eventually force Biden to resign or else Congressional Republi-cons will remove him from office as mentally incompetent.
Concurrently, Republi-cons are working to Gerrymander the post-Census apportionment process. Nothing new, eh. Add to that, they are trying to seize control of the House of Representatives before the 2022 Election through interim special elections. They eagerly want to jump the gun on all their new re-apportioned House seats.
With their pre-2022 Republi-con majority in the House, they will have appointed Crooked Drumpf to Speaker of the House, third in presidential succession.
Next step will be to finish the removal of both Biden and Harris. Crooked Drumpf takes the Presidency as next in line.

An open letter signed by 124 retired US military officers has called President Biden’s health into question, earning a strong rebuke from Hillary Clinton and others.
“The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored,” wrote Flag Officers 4 America, an organisation of former generals and admirals. “He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night.”
The ex-officers did not go into further detail, and listed no specific ailments as possibilities. As evidence, the letter only cites “recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures”, which it interprets as “raising the question about who is in charge”.
Doubts about Mr Biden’s health – and about Ms Clinton’s in 2016 – have long been a talking point of right-wing pundits. Fox News’ Sean Hannity, in particular, has insisted for months that Mr Biden is “struggling cognitively.”
Ms Clinton wasn’t the only one to object.
Military experts, including some currently in service, denounced the letter in a report by Politico. One serving Navy officer, who did not wish to be named, called it “disturbing and reckless.” Marybeth Ulrich, a retired Air Force colonel, called the letter “anti-democratic.”
“That was way worse than I was expecting,” Ms Ulrich told Politico. ““They are absolutely violating the norm to be apolitical. They are being used for partisan purposes.”
A medical summary released in 2019 by Mr Biden’s doctor described him as a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.” The White House says it will release another assessment after the president’s checkup later this year.
In the Flag Officers’ letter, a four-sentence discussion of Mr Biden’s health is last in a long list of points, many of which echo the grievances of former president Donald Trump. At the top is an accusation – which has been thoroughly debunked – that the 2020 election was fraudulent.
“Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost,” the letter says. “The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020.”
The letter also complains that “illegals are flooding our Country [sic],” troops at the US Capitol are “guarding against a non-existent threat,” and “Politically Correct policies like the divisive critical race theory” are being pushed on the military.
Many of these charges are common talking points on Fox News and other conservative media. The letter even mimics the random capitalization and syntax of Mr Trump’s tweets, railing about “Socialism and Marxism” and “the Democrat Party.”
Retired Army Major General Joe Arbuckle, who organized the letter, insisted that the dangers the US is facing are too great to remain silent.
“Retired generals and admirals normally do not engage in political actions,” the Vietnam veteran told Politico, “but the situation facing our nation today is dire and we must speak out in order to be faithful to our oath to support and defend the Constitution of the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

A group named “Flag Officers 4 America” released a letter signed by 124 former military leaders.
The letter questioned the 2020 election result and President Joe Biden’s physical and mental health.
One serving Navy leader told Politico the letter was “disturbing and reckless.”
More than 120 retired US military leaders have signed an open letter appearing to advance a false conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was rigged and questioning President Joe Biden’s mental capacity to serve.
“Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost,” said the letter released Tuesday by “Flag Officers 4 America,” and signed by 124 former admirals and generals.
“The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020.”
On its website, Flag Officers 4 America says it is a collection of “retired military leaders who pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
In the letter, the signatories, many of whom have been out of active service for decades, also addressed concerns over Biden’s health.
“The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night,” the letter said.
The Defense Department declined to comment.

Throughout the 2020 election campaign former President Donald Trump regularly cast doubts on Biden’s health and suitability to rule, calling him “Sleepy Joe” and saying in March 2020 that there was “something going on” with Biden’s mental abilities.
Earlier this month Biden’s personal doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, released a report on the president’s health, in which he called him a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.”
Biden is the oldest serving US president in history, and the White House said this week that the president will undergo a full checkup this year.

In the Tuesday letter, the Flag Officers 4 America signatories also laid out what they deem to be the major threats facing the US, namely the rise of China, the rejoining of the Iran nuclear deal, immigration, and the ending of the Keystone Pipeline project.
The signatories also called for the removal of Section 230, a part of US law that shields tech companies from legal liability. Trump called for the section to be removed last year after Twitter flagged two of his tweets about mail-in voting.
“Our Nation is in deep peril,” the signatories wrote in the introduction to the letter.
“We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty.”
‘Gross and blatant partisan attack’
Several military experts told Politico the letter was an outright partisan attack and dangerous.
One serving Navy officer told Politico the letter was “disturbing and reckless” while Jim Golby, an expert in civil-military relations, told the outlet it was a “shameful effort to use their rank and the military’s reputation for such a gross and blatant partisan attack.”
The letter’s organizer, Maj. Gen. Joe Arbuckle, told Politico: “Retired generals and admirals normally do not engage in political actions, but the situation facing our nation today is dire. … We are facing threats greater than at any other time since our country was founded. To remain silent would be a dereliction of duty.”

BOLDUC JOINS IN OPEN LETTER. Retired Brig. Gen. Donald Bolduc, the only announced Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate next year, joined more than 100 of his military colleagues this week in a scathing open letter challenging the integrity of the 2020 presidential election and questioning President Joe Biden’s mental acuity.
Politico first reported that Bolduc was among 124 retired generals and admirals who call themselves Flag Officers 4 America who on Tuesday issued the letter stating in part, “The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night.”
The letter says state legislatures have the power to determine and identify legal votes.
“Today, many are calling such commonsense controls ‘racist’ in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic.”
The letter goes on to urge support for “politicians who will act to counter Socialism, Marxism and Progressivism, support our Constitutional Republic, and insist on fiscally responsible governing while focusing on all Americans, especially the middle class, not special interest or extremist groups, which are used to divide us into warring factions.”
Jim Golby, a senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security, told Politico the letter is “a shameful effort to use their rank and the military’s reputation for such a gross and blatant partisan attack.”
“I think it hurts the military and by extension it hurts the country,” Adm. Mike Mullen, a former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during part of the administrations of presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, told Politico.
But Bolduc doubled down on his position in a Wednesday afternoon tweet: “I stand by what is written in the letter. The truth in today’s world can make people uncomfortable, but that should not stop anyone from speaking their truth.”

President Joe Biden is a gaffe machine. He said so himself. More often than not, he’ll say the wrong thing, the right thing the wrong way or simply let his thoughts trail off and not even finish the sentence. Usually, these misspeaks and verbal fumbles make great comedy, except now we aren’t the only ones laughing.
America has had weak leaders before, but hardly one so absent-minded and obviously inept at a time when the stakes couldn’t be higher.

The question of who is really in charge at the White House has been on the minds of many since even before Biden moved in. Whenever he managed to string together a cogent sentence during his campaign, it was little more than leftist sloganeering with vague talk of “uniting” tacked on at the end. His ability to adopt whatever idea is most radical is not unique among today’s politicians, but something’s different about Biden. He’s moved quickly to enact countless executive orders and unpopular policy, so quickly in fact it belies his otherwise slow, senile demeanor. It really makes you wonder which puppet master has their hand up his back.
The military leaders also underscored other potential and current crises in the letter such as open borders, the rise of China, attacks on the First Amendment, the “flawed” Iran Nuclear Deal, closing the Keystone Pipeline, the injection of critical theory (both of race and gender) into the military and elsewhere, the degradation of the rule of law and the alarming cultural shift toward Marxist authoritarianism. What all these problems have in common is that they were either caused or made worse by the president after just four months in office.
Lest you think I’m merely being partisan, Biden hasn’t been all bad. Inflation, gas shortages, fire in the Middle East aside, he’s handled the pandemic and the vaccine rollout fairly well, which is no small feat.
I could see his appeal when he was campaigning and wanted to believe all his talk of reuniting a fractured country. I will go as far as to say I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He had a real chance to do that (it wouldn’t have been that hard), but he chose, or was made to take, the exact opposite direction.
The open letter concludes: “The survival of our nation and its cherished freedoms, liberty and historic values are at stake. We urge all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to save America, our constitutional republic, and hold those currently in office accountable.”
Maybe you’re still holding out hope for some of Biden’s agenda. Maybe you voted for him because the alternative was just too gross. But with threats to our freedom and way of life evolving, America needs — the world needs — a Commander in Chief that can evolve just as quickly, can make the hard decisions and instill the fear of God in our enemies through firm speech and action.
We’re stuck with Biden and/or Kamala Harris for a few more years, but some very important elections are nearer on the horizon. I pray all the above mentioned crises are resolved as soon as possible and that voters don’t have short memories.

IF 124 RETIRED US FLAG OFFICERS CALLED OUT TURN TO MARXISM, WOULD ANYONE LISTEN?

In a surprising turn of events, 124 retired U.S. generals and admirals have signed an open letter stating that the 2020 election was rigged and questioning President Joe Biden’s mental health and ability to serve.
“We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty,” states the letter signed by the former military leaders. The letter was released by “Flag Officers 4 America.”
Normally, military officers are apolitical. Yet, the letter’s signatories say that the situation facing the U.S. today is dire and they feel compelled to speak out in order to be faithful to their oath to support and defend the Constitution of the U.S. against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
The Flag Officers 4 America is a group of retired military leaders whose stated goal is to support and defend the Constitution.
All Enemies, Foreign and Domestic
The Flag Officers 4 America’s website states that “We are retired military leaders who pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Although retired from active service, each of us feels bound by that oath to do what we can, in our capacity today, to protect our nation from the threats to her freedom.”
The officers’ letter also questions the health and ability of President Joe Biden to serve as the Commander in Chief.
“The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night,” the letter added.
The letter listed what it considers to be the major threats facing the United States: election fairness and irregularities, the rise and danger of China, the renewal of the Iran nuclear deal talks, illegal immigration, border protection, and the ending of the Keystone Pipeline project.

“Election integrity demands ensuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc. Today, many are calling such commonsense controls ‘racist’ in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic,” the letter reads.
“China is the greatest external threat to America. Establishing cooperative relations with the Chinese Communist Party emboldens them to continue progress toward world domination, militarily, economically, politically, and technologically. We must impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests,” the letter added.
Free Speech and the Suppression of the Free Flow of Information
The letter also calls for the Big Tech protections of Section 230 to be removed.
“The free flow of information is critical to the security of our Republic, as illustrated by freedom of speech and the press being in the 1st Amendment of our Constitution. Censoring speech and expression, distorting speech, spreading disinformation by government officials, private entities, and the media is a method to suppress the free flow of information, a tyrannical technique used in closed societies. We must counter this on all fronts beginning with removing Section 230 protection from big tech.”

Officers Are Divided Over the Letter
While these 124 flag officers say that “our nation is in deep peril,” not all officers agree. Politico quoted one active-duty anonymous naval officer as saying that this letter was “disturbing and reckless.”
Further, Retired Adm. Mike Mullen, former head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that the letter “hurts the military and by extension, it hurts the country” and said it contains GOP “talking points.”
However, Retired Army Maj. Gen. Joe Arbuckle, who organized the letter, responded to Politico. “It is critical that the threats to our national security be brought to the attention of the American people and that is the main purpose of the letter. To remain silent would be a dereliction of duty.”
The letter ended by urging “all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to Save America, our Constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable.”
The vast majority of mainstream media has crushed the letter by accusing the writers of a racist agenda and of parroting “GOP talking points.”
Nevertheless, the very fact that so many of America’s retired military leaders question the direction the country is headed, should, at the very least, give many Americans pause to ask if this is the best course of action.

A group of more than 120 retired military officers have written to President Joe Biden to tell him his election was less than legitimate – while questioning his mental acuity.
The letter echoes former President Donald Trump’s claims of widespread election fraud – which have not been borne out in the courts – and comes on a day when Rep. Liz Cheney ripped Trump for his claim that the election was ‘stolen.’
‘Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost,’ the letter from retired officers says.

The group calls itself ‘Flag Officers 4 America’ and consists of retired military officers including generals and admirals.
‘The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020,’ they wrote.
The letter, called an ‘Open Letter from Retired Generals and Admirals,’ was reported by Politico.
It echoes Trump’s claims that absentee ballots are not secure as it goes after Biden, who serves as Commander in Chief of the military.
‘Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc,’ they write.

The retired officers raise doubts about Biden’s mental capacity – and reference Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s move to get assurances about the nuclear codes in the days after the January 6 MAGA riot.

‘Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command.’
The group Flag Officers 4 America call themselves ‘retired military leaders who pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic.’
The letter is a counterpoint to impactful public statements by national security officials who weighed in for Biden during the campaign. One such effort came when 10 former secretaries of Defense penned an extraordinary op-ed in the Washington Post warning there is ‘no role’ for the U.S. military in the outcome of U.S. elections, and stating the importance of a peaceful transfer of power.
That letter came three days before the Capitol riot.
The signers of the attached their names to the letter. Among them was Maj. Gen. Joe Arbuckle, who served in Vietnam and later commanded the US Army Industrial Operations Command (IOC) at Rock Island, Illinois.
Arbuckle, who organized the effort, told Politico: ‘Retired generals and admirals normally do not engage in political actions, but the situation facing our nation today is dire.’
He continued: ‘We are facing threats greater than at any other time since our country was founded. To remain silent would be a dereliction of duty.’
The effort drew immediate pushback from military members who lamented people who wore the uniform jumping into an organized political effort.

Jim Golby, an expert in civil-military relations, blasted the effort in Politico as a ‘shameful effort to use their rank and the military’s reputation for such a gross and blatant partisan attack.’
Retired Air Force colonel Marybeth Ulrich, who teaches at the Air Force Academy, termed it ‘anti-democratic.’
Also ripping the effort was retired Adm. Mike Mullen, who served as chair of the join chiefs of staff and outranks those on the letter, said: ‘I think it hurts the military and by extension it hurts the country. He cast it as ‘right-wing Republican talking points.’
‘This is really, to my mind, a classic very bad example of the erosion of civil-military relations in America, which is the bedrock of our democracy,’ another retired military leader, Army Col. Jeffrey McCausland, told HuffPost.
Members of the military vote in elections and have protected constitutional rights, but military leaders have warned of the risks of intruding in domestic politics.
In the run-up to 2020, retired Gen. James Mattis denounced Trump, whom he served as Defense Secretary, in a June response to the events at Lafayette Square. ‘We must reject and hold accountable those in office who would make a mockery of our Constitution,’ Mattis wrote.
Other signers of the anti-Biden letter included include Vice Adm. John Poindexter, who was convicted in the Iran-Contra Affair.
Also signing on was Army Brig. Gen. Don Bolduc, who lost the Republican primary in 2020 to challenge Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, and is planning another Senate run.
Another signer, Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, who was termed anti-Muslim for his comments to a Christian congregation, CBS previously reported, after Boykin said of a Somali warlord: ‘I knew that my God was bigger than his.’

An open letter signed by 124 retired U.S. generals and admirals warns that under the current Democrat-controlled Congress and White House, ”our nation is in deep peril as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776.”
”The conflict,” the signatories attest, ”is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty.”
A statement on the Flag Officers 4 America website notes that while its members are no longer engaged in active military service, they remain ”bound by that oath to do what we can, in our capacity today, to protect our nation from threats to her freedom.”
I’ll briefly excerpt and summarize key threats these senior officers raise in their letter.
Election Irregularities
”Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc,” which were often ignored in 2020.
Senate passage of H.R. 1 and S. 1. ”would destroy election fairness and allow Democrats to forever remain in power violating our Constitution and ending our Representative Republic.”
Open Border Policies
”Open borders jeopardize national security by increasing human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorists’ entry, health/CV19 dangers, and illegal voting in some states.”
The letter urges that we must reestablish border controls to staunch illegals who are ”flooding our country, bringing high economic costs, crime, lowering wages, and illegal voting in some states.”
Chinese Communist Threats
”China is the greatest external threat to America. Establishing cooperative relations with the Chinese Communist Party emboldens them to continue progress toward world domination, militarily, economically, politically, and technologically.”
”We must impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests.”
Free Speech Censorship:
”The free flow of information is critical to the security of the Republic,” a right guaranteed in the First Amendment of our Constitution.
We must counter current Big Tech censorship of speech and disinformation by government officials. Suppression of the free flow of information is ”a tyrannical technique used in closed societies.”
Bad Iran Nuclear Deal
”Re-engaging in the flawed Iran Nuclear Deal would result in Iran acquiring nuclear weapons along with the means to deliver them, thereby upsetting Mideast peace initiatives and aiding a terrorist nation whose slogans and goals include ‘death to America’ and ‘death to Israel.”’
We must resist renewing failed Obama-era China/Iran agreement policies and continue to support the Mideast Abraham Accords which will help protect Israel.
Democrat War on Fossil Fuel
”Stopping the Keystone Pipeline eliminates our recently established energy independence and causes us to be dependent on nations not friendly to us, while eliminating valuable U.S. jobs.’
”We must open the Keystone Pipeline and regain our energy independence for national security and economic reasons.”
Politicization of the Military
”Using the U.S. military as political pawns with thousands of troops deployed around the U.S. Capitol Building, patrolling fences guarding against a non-existent threat, along with forcing politically correct policies like divisive critical race theory into the military at the expense of the War Fighting Mission, seriously degrades readiness to fight and win our Nation’s wars, creating a major security issue.”
These present policies must be ended.
Government Condoned Lawlessness
”The ‘Rule of Law’ is fundamental to our Republic and security. Anarchy as seen in certain cities cannot be tolerated.
”We must support our law enforcement personnel and insist that DAs, our courts, and the DOJ enforce the law equally, fairly, and consistently toward all.”
Dysfunctional Commander in Chief
”The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night.”

A Tyrannical Shift to the Left
”Under a Democrat Congress and current administration, our country has taken a hard left turn toward Socialism and a Marxism form of tyrannical government which must be countered now by electing congressional and presidential candidates who will always act to defend our Constitutional Republic.

More than 120 retired US military leaders have signed an open letter appearing to advance a false conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was rigged, and questioning President Joe Biden’s mental capacity to rule.
“Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost,” said the letter released Tuesday by “Flag Officers 4 America,” and signed by 124 former admirals and generals.
“The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020.”
On its website, Flag Officers 4 America says it is a collection of “retired military leaders who pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
In the letter, the signatories, many of whom have been out of active service for decades, also addressed concerns over Biden’s health.
“The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night,” the letter said.
Insider has contacted the Department of Defense for comment.
Throughout the 2020 election campaign former President Donald Trump regularly cast doubts on Biden’s health and suitability to rule, calling him “Sleepy Joe” and saying in March 2020 that there was “something going on” with Biden’s mental abilities.

Earlier this month Biden’s personal doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, released a report on the president’s health, in which he called him a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.”
Biden is the oldest serving US president in history, and the White House said this week that the president will undergo a full check-up this year.

One serving Navy officer told Politico the letter was “disturbing and reckless” while Jim Golby, an expert in civil-military relations, told the outlet it was a “shameful effort to use their rank and the military’s reputation for such a gross and blatant partisan attack.”
The letter’s organizer, Maj. Gen. Joe Arbuckle, told Politico: “Retired generals and admirals normally do not engage in political actions.”
“But the situation facing our nation today is dire … We are facing threats greater than at any other time since our country was founded. To remain silent would be a dereliction of duty.”

More than 120 retired US military leaders have signed an open letter appearing to advance a false conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was rigged and questioning President Joe Biden’s mental capacity to serve.
“Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost,” said the letter released Tuesday by “Flag Officers 4 America,” and signed by 124 former admirals and generals.
“The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020.”
On its website, Flag Officers 4 America says it is a collection of “retired military leaders who pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
In the letter, the signatories, many of whom have been out of active service for decades, also addressed concerns over Biden’s health.
“The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night,” the letter said.
The Defense Department declined to comment.

Throughout the 2020 election campaign former President Donald Trump regularly cast doubts on Biden’s health and suitability to rule, calling him “Sleepy Joe” and saying in March 2020 that there was “something going on” with Biden’s mental abilities.
Earlier this month Biden’s personal doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, released a report on the president’s health, in which he called him a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.”
Biden is the oldest serving US president in history, and the White House said this week that the president will undergo a full checkup this year.

A group of more than 100 retired generals and admirals who have accused President Joe Biden of being a communist have been pranked by a faux flag officer going by the nom de guerre “Rear Adm. Jack Meehoff.”

Earlier this month, the group Flag Officers 4 America posted an open letter that repeated lies spread by former President Donald Trump and the elected leaders who support his claims that the FBI and Supreme Court ignored “election irregularities” in 2020.
The myth that the presidential election was stolen led to the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. So far, one active-duty Marine major, four service members from the reserve component, and 41 veterans have been charged in connection with the attack on the Capitol, Army Lt. Col. Martin Meiners, a Pentagon spokesman, said on May 13.
In their letter, the retired generals and admirals – most of whom have been out of uniform for several years – claim the Biden administration has “launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner” by passing executive orders. They also claim the administration is damaging the military’s ability to fight wars through an “infusion of Political Correctness.” And they raise doubts about Biden’s ability to serve as commander in chief by claiming: “The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored.”

The funds are part of the FDNY World Trade Center Health Program, which was established by the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, a bill passed by Congress that provides healthcare to first responders who have suffered a range of illnesses from exposure to dust and smoke at Ground Zero.
