People are fleeing violence or persecution, or desperately need medical care, and we greet them by taking their kids away? Some children as young as 53-weeks-old and being kept away from their mothers and fathers for months on end.

Family Values courtesy of the Crooked Drumpf Republi-con Christian Con-servative Party of Death. Separate immigrant children from their adult family members, families fleeing violence at their home countries here at the Americas, violence that the USA itself fomented through decades of failed foreign policy disasters that supported Amerikan Fascist and NAZI dictatorships.
Following along the ideology of Nixon, what he experimented during the 1950s, what he perfected and taught to the Argentinian, Brasilian, Chilean dictatorships of the 1970s – Disappear – separate immigrant children from their families, kill their parents, and move the orphaned children to live with Ruling Class adoptions. We know of about 1500 that Crooked Drumpf admits, only Crooked Drumpf and his criminal administration know how many hundreds, thousands more immigrant children suffered such ‘Family Values’ fate. We may not know til a Truth Commission decades from now that exposes the extent of Crooked Drumpf’s corruption..

This article from FactCheck.org explains exactly what’s going on here. The Trump administration, Jeff Sessions in particular, made the decision to prosecute every single adult who crosses the border illegally. The charge is a misdemeanour and requires the adults to serve time in jail, usually a few days and this is when kids are separated from parents because kids are not allowed to stay with parents in jail. The misdemeanour charges have never been prosecuted in the past, which is why the issue of separating children from their parents has not been raised in the past. Previously, unless someone posed a risk to the public, adults and children were either immediately sent back or released into society to await their immigration hearings.
The decision made by Jeff Sessions to charge and prosecute every single adult that crosses the border illegally is the reason why kids are being separated from their families. As it stands there are over 1500 kids placed in temporary care by the government that the government can no longer locate…
The Nazi’s divided the Jews into groups once they arrived at the camps…the sick, the elderly, the disabled, men, women, boys and girls. And very often some, but not all of these groups were then put back on trains and sent to other camps. Families were commonly split amongst 3-4 camps.
Trump and Sessions are using the practice of prosecuting these people as a deterrent, despite the fact that it requires splitting parents from children. This is unAmerican and in my mind the trauma inflicted on these kids and their parents equates to cruel and unusual punishment.

WASHINGTON — A top official with the Department of Health and Human Services told members of Congress on Thursday that the agency had lost track of nearly 1,500 migrant children it placed with sponsors in the United States, raising concerns they could end up in the hands of human traffickers or be used as laborers by people posing as relatives.
The official, Steven Wagner, the acting assistant secretary of the agency’s Administration for Children and Families, disclosed during testimony before a Senate homeland security subcommittee that the agency had learned of the missing children after placing calls to the people who took responsibility for them when they were released from government custody.
The children were taken into government care after they showed up alone at the Southwest border. Most of the children are from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, and were fleeing drug cartels, gang violence and domestic abuse, government data shows.
From last October to the end of the year, officials at the agency’s Office of Refugee Resettlement tried to reach 7,635 children and their sponsors, Mr. Wagner testified. From these calls, officials learned that 6,075 children remained with their sponsors. Twenty-eight had run away, five had been removed from the United States and 52 had relocated to live with a nonsponsor.
But officials at the agency were unable to determine with certainty the whereabouts of 1,475 children, Mr. Wagner said.
The new details come as Congress is examining safeguards put in place by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Homeland Security to make sure children who show up alone at the border are turned over to relatives, and not human traffickers.

The funds are part of the FDNY World Trade Center Health Program, which was established by the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, a bill passed by Congress that provides healthcare to first responders who have suffered a range of illnesses from exposure to dust and smoke at Ground Zero.
